AH+ Celebrate Pasifika & Maori Youth at the TupuToa Gala Dinner

On Thursday the 14th February, Alliance Health+ CEO, Wayne Williams and members of the Senior Leadership team attended the Annual TupuToa Gala Dinner in Auckland CBD.

TupuToa is an internship programme that creates pathways for Pasifika and Maori students into careers in the corporate and professional sectors. The Gala Dinner is an occasion where corporate, culture and community connect and celebrate the outstanding achievements of the 2018/2019 interns; a cohort of over 150 Māori and Pasifika youth across the country’s corporate landscape.

One of these interns is Aniese Vave. A young Tuvaluan man who is not only a TupuToa Intern, but who also led the Rheumatic Fever youth performance at the Tuvalu Community Grand Finale of the Alliance Health + ‘Take it to Heart’ Rheumatic Fever Campaign in December 2018. This event was attended by over 400 people from 4 churches.

Warm congratulations to Aniese and to all of the TupuToa Interns!
