Welcoming new Board member Luamanu Lou Maea Tuu’u

Last week we were honoured to welcome the newest member of the Alliance Health Plus Trust Board – Mr Luamanu Lou Maea Tuu’u.

Mr Maea is an experienced Board Member with a demonstrated history of working across non-profit health and community organisations, most recently with Habitat for Humanity. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, highly skilled in financial management and audit, program evaluation, policy writing, systems improvement and more. Mr Maea identifies as New Zealand/Samoan and is a business graduate of Auckland University of Technology.

The occasion was hosted by Karyn Ne’emia, Pacific Equity Manager with Parish Community Health Worker Aumua To’o Vaega formally welcoming Luamanu in Samoan. The AH+ team sung a pese/waiata, in Samoan and Maori to acknowledge Te wiki o te reo.

We look forward to supporting the vision and knowledge of Chairman Ulu Aiono, Mr Maea and the rest of the AH+ Trust Board.
