Double congratulations in order as NZNO National Awards are announced!

Each year the New Zealand Nurses Association (NZNO) presents Service to Nursing and Midwifery Awards as a way of recognising nurses or midwives who are NZNO members and who have made a positive difference to nursing or midwifery practice or practice environment.
The award was presented at the NZNO Conference dinner on 19 September 2018 and it was a night to remember for Health Star Pacific nurses Togia’i Vaifagaloa Naseri (pictured left) and Taiivao Siniva Cruickshank (pictured right), the first Samoan nurses to have been presented the award. Health Star Pacific Trust is a provider in The Pacific Provider Development Fund which Alliance Health Plus champions. Both Vaifagaloa and Siniva have made admirable contributions to Pacific nursing and Pacific communities, here in New Zealand and in Samoa.
