Our Pacific Health Providers

The Pacific Provider Development Fund (PPDF) was established by the Ministry of Health in 1998 in order to allow Pacific people to access healthcare where their language is spoken, their culture understood and where Pacific models of care were delivered - Alliance Health Plus is a champion for the PPDF.

We have a network of specialist health providers that extend throughout the greater Auckland region. With a strong relationship between local practices and Integrated Services, our providers are able to deliver health initiatives direct to communities. The providers create opportunities to raise awareness, provide education and necessary resources on health issues that are affecting the local communities that they operate in.

Our main Pacific providers:

South Seas Healthcare was founded in February 1999 following an identified need to provide Pacific Primary Health Care to the Pacific population in Counties Manukau.

The organisation was established by a group of health professionals who possessed experience in service delivery, policy development and clinical skills in the primary care area.

Bader Drive Healthcare (BDH) has been providing health services in Counties Manukau for over 25 years.

BDH have two General Practices in Mangere and Manurewa, as well as having an experienced Community Health Educator Workforce which is involved in service delivery in the region of Counties Manukau.

Tongan Health Society (THS) specialise in assisting those for whom English is a second language, and those needing help with health related immigration, housing, and work and income issues.
